CALCO 2005: Social Programme

The social programme for CALCO 2005 consists of:

The conference dinner at Sketty Hall: about 5 minutes walk from the on-campus accommodation. The conference dinner is at 20.00 on Monday 5th September
The excursion to the Gower is at 15:45 on Sunday 4th September.
The Beach Party is at 19:00 on Friday 2nd September.

Conference Dinner

Starter Cream of Wild Mushroom and Brandy soup.
Main Course Three-bone rack of lamb with cauliflower and stilton puree or confit of duck leg with pommes puree and plum jus.
Dessert Profiteroles with chocolate sauce.
Tea/Coffee and Mints

Vegetarians and those with other dietary requirements will of course be catered for.

Excursion

The excursion will be to Rhossili and Worms Head on the Gower peninsula, which is about 20 minutes drive from the conference venue.

Beach Party

If the weather is good, this will be held on the beach in front of the University. If the weather does not cooperate (and at the moment - Wednesday 31st - the forecast is quite good) we will go and hide from the rain in a pub.
