33 kms southeast of the city centre
and is accessible via Attiki Odos (The Athens City Ring Road).
Public transport between Athens city centre and the airport is provided by

Registration, the opening session, the welcome reception and all plenary
lectures will take place in the Main (historic) Building of the
University of Athens; in particular,
registration will take place in the Kontos Hall (on the right-hand side of the entrance),
the opening session and all plenary lectures will take place in the Great Hall and
the welcome reception will take place in the courts of the building.
Special sessions talks and contributed talks will take place in lecture rooms
in the Main Building or the Student Union Building or in the Foreign Languages
Building of the University of Athens.
Reaching the venue
The Main Building of the University of Athens is located in the city centre,
between Riga Fereou Street and P. Grigoriou Street (for pedestrians only);
the exact address is: 30, Eleftheriou Venizelou Avenue (usually called
“Panepistimiou Avenue” by Greeks). The Student Union Building is located at
15, Ipokratous Street, while the Foreign Languages Building is located at
7, Ipokratous Street. Ipokratous Street is the first street parallel to
Riga Fereou Street (to the west).

All buildings are within walking distance from conference hotels.
They are only a short walk away from the “Panepistimio” stop of the Athens
city metro network (line 2 or red line).
