The StoryBank System
In our field studies we found:
- A community with low literacy and computer skills.
- A rich tradition of oral and visual story telling; and, active self-help groups.
- A successful community radio station.

The StoryBank system was designed to accommodate this context:
- Audio-visual stories created on mobile phones.
- Up to six images and a two minute voiceover.
- Large touch screen display situated at the heart of the village.
- Stories uploaded and downloaded to the StoryBank.
- Stories visually collaged on large screen.
