Over Netscape, the animation is too slow (but the timing remains okay)

Works best on IE -- except on Windows XP, where it often hangs itself.

It's all too tedious; what was the point of Java again?

Recompiled using Java 1.5. Works a little better now -- seems to need one refresh before it'll play through, at least on Safari. Ho hum.
